Paul is an award-winning educator and composer who seamlessly blends academic depth with modern technology to help students unlock their full musical potential. With a B.M. in Music Performance and extensive certifications from Berklee and Yale, his career spans everything from earning National Educator Recognition to composing soundtracks for popular indie video games.
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Paul has built a career centered on adapting to how modern students learn. He teaches a wide variety of instruments including guitar, piano, drums, bass, banjo, and ukulele and tailors every lesson to the student’s unique goals.
Whether you are preparing for a rigorous regional audition, learning to record and mix your own music in Pro Tools, or taking lessons for cognitive wellness and relaxation, Paul balances essential technique with the pure joy of making music.

Multi-Instrumentalist, Voice & Composition Instructor
Stephen brings a wealth of experience and a genuine enthusiasm to teaching a wide variety of instruments from voice and piano to woodwinds, brass, and percussion. He holds a Master of Music and an Artist Diploma in Vocal Performance from Yale University, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of North Texas.
With over 15 years of experience as a certified public school teacher directing band, choral, and general music programs, Stephen knows how to help students succeed. He is highly adaptable and patient, making him a fantastic fit for everyone from young beginners and homeschooled students to children with special needs and adult learners returning to an instrument.
Known for his caring nature and great sense of humor, Stephen weaves music theory, history, and composition into his lessons so students truly understand the music they are playing. Whether he is helping a student prepare for AP Music Theory, supplementing their school band curriculum, or just encouraging them to chase the joy of playing music, Stephen ensures every lesson is engaging, supportive, and fun.

Evgenia is a world-class musician who brings an incredible classical pedigree and a surprisingly modern edge to her teaching studio. Starting her musical journey in Yekaterinburg, Russia at age five, she later moved to the U.S. and earned full scholarships to both the Manhattan School of Music and the Yale School of Music, where she received her Artist Diploma in 2002.
As a classical performer, Evgenia has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and she spent over a decade as a professional singer at prominent NYC venues like the Brick Presbyterian Church and Park Avenue Synagogue.
Despite her rigorous classical background, Evgenia’s teaching philosophy is entirely student-centric. She believes students learn best in a fun, creative, and stress-free environment, and she tailors every lesson to accommodate all learning styles including extensive experience working with students with autism. Want to learn how to DJ? In addition to traditional instruments, Evgenia offers professional DJ and music production lessons! With expertise in software like Serato DJ, beatmatching, and mixing EDM, pop, and hip-hop, she helps students master DJ controllers and create seamless transitions between their favorite genres.

Whether you want to write your own songs or master your favorite riffs on the acoustic and electric guitar, Zach is the teacher for you. Born and raised in Connecticut, Zach is an active singer, songwriter, and performer in the local music scene.
With over 15 years of live performance experience, you can often find him gigging around the area at venues like Park City Music Hall, both as a solo artist and as the frontman of multiple bands.
Zach’s philosophy centers on helping students define clear goals and building a structured plan to achieve them. Whether a student wants to learn their favorite songs, jam with friends, improvise, write originals, or perform, lessons are thoughtfully tailored to their needs. By combining creativity with clear milestones, Zach helps students enjoy the instrument right away while also building the skills necessary for long-term growth.

Marcus is a versatile, multi-genre pianist who believes that music makes us fearless and connects us across time. Growing up surrounded by jazz, he initially taught himself to play by ear at age 12 before diving deep into classical, romantic, and contemporary repertoire.
Today, Marcus holds a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Lander University and a Master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport. With years of varied performance experience under his belt, he also shares his passion for education daily as a music teacher for Bridgeport Public Schools.
Marcus seamlessly blends formal technique with the intuitive joy of playing by ear. Whether he is breaking down the complex jazz harmonies of Chick Corea and Thelonious Monk or guiding a student through traditional classical pieces, he tailors his approach to help students develop both a strong foundation and a deep, personal connection to the music they play.
Piano Instructor & Accompanist
Sally brings over 20 years of professional experience as a piano teacher and accompanist to her students. She holds a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Central Missouri and pursued doctoral studies in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Kansas.
Outside the teaching studio, Sally has built a highly versatile career as a collaborative pianist and music director. Her resume includes accompanying ballet classes at the Connecticut Dance School, serving as the Music Director for theatrical productions, and playing for numerous churches and events throughout Connecticut.
Sally’s teaching philosophy is rooted in a deep passion for sharing her musical gifts and helping students cultivate their own. With extensive experience teaching early beginners to university students, she provides a well-rounded education that prepares students for any musical setting—and even brings unique knowledge in piano mechanics to her lessons.
